A Monograph

A monograph (352 p.; 15 black-and-white illustrations) is performed within the fundamental academic study of the Institute for Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine on the topic Transformation of the culture of memory of modern Ukrainian society.

The monograph presents the results of the research and theoretical comprehension of the post-communist transformation of Ukrainian culture in the context of Central and Eastern Europe; the process of decommunization of culture and related changes in the memory policy and public consciousness; reception of cultural heritage of the 19th-20th centuries in modern Ukraine; Europeanization of the culture of memory in Ukraine through the comprehension of humanitarian catastrophes of the 20th century.

It is for specialists in the field of cultural studies, history, philosophy of culture, art history, teachers and students.
