The monograph (576 p.) is the result of fundamental scientific research of the Institute for Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine on the topic Traditional children’s subculture of Ukraine: socio-cultural potential.

The monograph presents the scientific and practical achievements of scientists, teachers and practitioners on the systematic approach to the study of the traditional and contemporary subculture of childhood. It outlines the conceptual and methodological foundations of systematic research, axiological and praxeological aspects of becoming a modern child in Ukraine.
