We invite scholars, lecturers, postgraduate and master’s students to participate in the

Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation

“Education as the Foundation of Renewal and Development: Interpreting the Past and Future through the Present”,

which will take place on November 7, 2025.

The conference focuses on current theoretical and practical issues related to the protection of intangible cultural heritage, education in the field of intangible heritage, design education, artistic creativity, and art-therapeutic practices in art education.

The event will be hosted by the Kyiv State Academy of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design named after Mykhailo Boichuk (32 Mykhailo Boichuk Street, Kyiv, Exhibition Hall) and will be held in a hybrid format (on-site and online via the ZOOM platform).

Presentation time: – Plenary session – up to 10 minutes; – Discussion participation – up to 5 minutes.

Planned events:

Round table: “The Impact of War on Intangible Cultural Heritage”

Section work in the following areas:

1. Education as the Foundation of Renewal and Development

2. Traditional Decorative and Applied Arts within the System of Contemporary Cultural Development
