Today, on September 24, 2025, the founder of the Institute for Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine and its first director in 2008-2019, Academician Yurii Bohutskyi, would have turned 73 years old. It is worth remembering him as an outstanding statesman and public figure, culturologist, and long-time Minister of Culture of Ukraine, who left a deep mark in the formation of the cultural policy of independent Ukraine. He aimed at preserving the national cultural heritage, supporting Ukrainian art, and developing cultural diplomacy. We remember, honor and continue his work.
