Theatrical-literary Relations Through the Works of A. V. Mikhailov.
Report at Mykhailivsky Readings of the Institute of World Literature, Russian Academy of Sciences.
(Published in Russian, 44 p.).
A. V. Mikhailov’s literary and aesthetic concept makes it possible to conclude the mediating role of the theater for the formation of fiction and the development of imaginative possibilities of the prose. The specificity of the prose and the metonymic style of detailing are related to the theatrical character and disguise. Theatrical transformation becomes the prototype of the idiomatization of speech material in the inner world of prose work.
