The monograph (199 p.) is the result of the fundamental scientific research of the Institute for Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine on the topic Self-organization and dynamics of culture and their peculiarities in Ukraine.

It provides the analysis of the evolutionary process of development of culture, comprehends the regularities and peculiarities of the dynamics of the historical and cultural development of humanity, as well as the processes of civilizational transformations.

The nature of the genesis of cultural self-organization and its place in the
holistic view of social history is studied in the work. The problem of the methodological foundations of rationally essential approach to the analysis of existing paradigms of perspective development of cultural and historical process is considered. It highlights the most important alternative scientific and theoretical concepts of the phenomenon of cultural genesis and determines the ways of its further scientific research.
