The monograph (208 p.) is the result of the fundamental scientific research of the Institute for Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine on the topic Culture of Ukraine: historical and cultural dimensions.

The monograph is the first in the national historical-cultural and artistic-literary fields of scientific thought a generalized analysis of the processes of emergence and transformation of artistic and literary associations of Ukraine in the historical and cultural dimension.

The processes of interaction, mutual influence of artistic and literary associations in the context of the undercurrents of the spiritual development of the Ukrainian people are contemplated. Considering the historical-culturological paradigm different methodological approaches are used, in particular, the synergetic approach.

It is beneficial for scientists, teachers of socio-cultural, artistic disciplines, historians, ethnologists, philosophers, students, post-graduate students, doctoral students and readers interested in problems of history and theory of culture of Ukraine.
