with deep sadness notifies that on May 14, 2019, passed away

YURII BOHUTSKYI,

Director of the Institute for Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Vice President of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Advisor to the President of Ukraine.

Having devoted all his life to serving Ukraine, Yuri Bohutskyi, being a committed and active defender of the state’s interests, directed his talent of the leader and facilitator to the implementation of the strategy for humanitarian development of the country and its positive image in the world.

Yurii Bohutskyi’s significant personal contribution to the establishment and development of the Institute for Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine and the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, the development of the field of culture and art and the realization of state tasks has been repeatedly recognized by high state awards of Ukraine and foreign countries.

Throughout his life, Yuri Bohutskyi was very human oriented and respectful towards his colleagues, an example of devotion and asceticism in work.

Employees of the Institute for Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Yurii Bohutskyi.

The memory of Yuri Bohutskyi will always live in our hearts.

Funeral will take place on May 17, 2019 at 12 PM in the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, at 2 PM in the Assumption Cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
