The National Academy of Arts of Ukraine announces an open competition for the position of Director of the Institute for Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.
Ukrainian citizens are eligible to participate in the competition provided they are fluent in the Ukrainian language, hold a Doctor of Sciences degree in Cultural Studies or Art Studies, or a Ph.D. in a humanities discipline, have at least ten years of experience in research and/or academic positions, and possess high ethical standards and strong organizational skills.
Candidates for the position of Director of the Institute for Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine may be nominated by the Presidium of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Full Members and Corresponding Members of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, the Academic Councils of the Academy’s research institutes, and the research departments of the Academy’s research institutes through written nominations. Nominations should be submitted to the Presidium of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.
The candidate for the position of Director of the Institute for Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine must be a distinguished scholar recognized by the Ukrainian academic community in the fields of Cultural Studies or Art Studies, whose scholarly achievements have made a significant theoretical and practical contribution and who is actively engaged in research and professional and public activities.
The application period is two months from the date of publication of this announcement, with applications being accepted until 25 August 2026 (inclusive).
