Writers as Researchers: the Potential of Theoretical Ideas (O. Wilde, T. Mann, A. France, I. Franko, S. Zweig).

The monograph (272 p.) is the result of the fundamental scientific research of the Institute for Cultural Research of the NAA of Ukraine on the topic The new socio-cultural reality in Ukraine.

The monograph examines theoretical works of O. Wilde, T. Mann, A. France, I. Franko, and S. Zweig, which occupy a prominent place in their creative heritage. Based on the principle of an interdisciplinary approach, writers enunciated manifold original ideas being a significant contribution to European humanism in the second half of the 19th – the first half of the 20th century.

The work is for professionals in the field of aesthetics, theory and history of culture, literary criticism, arts, teachers and students of humanities.
