The monograph (256 p.) is the result of the fundamental scientific research of the Institute for Cultural Research of the NAA of Ukraine on the topic Visualization of modern cultural space.

Authors devoted their research to an extremely relevant issue of studying the modern cultural field transformed into on-screen reality affecting the viewers, their worldview, and life stance. It is the construction of reality with the meanings implicated in it through visual images that helps to form a cultural reality through cinema to demonstrate life-worlds as a physical reality.

Using different versions of the philosophy of culture allows us to state that human understanding of cultural meanings and guidance is carried out mainly based on visual experience.

The monograph is for scientists (cultural scientists, philosophers, art critics), teachers/lecturers, graduate students, doctoral students and anyone interested in the problems of visualization of the real in the contemporary cultural space.
