Architectural Heritage of Ukraine: Memorial Preservation Aspect.
The monograph (236 p.) is the result of the fundamental scientific research of the Institute for Cultural Research of the NAA of Ukraine on the topic Ukrainian culture and the world: organizational problems of artistic culture.
It highlights the historical aspect of forming the memorial preservation, and architectural and restoration methodology in Ukraine.
Based on the results of the morphological analysis of the objects of the urban architectural heritage, the material components of the monuments as objects of protection and restoration are marked; the monograph formulates the notion of the historic environment as a memorandum category, highlights the essence of the authenticity of the objects of the architectural and urban heritage.
The monograph develops the scientific provisions of architectural conservation and restoration methodology, creating the basis for the formation of urban architectural planning conservation theory as a complex scientific discipline.
