The collective monograph “Training of Doctors of Art. Certification Innovations in Art Education in Ukraine” was published.
This publication is the result of a profound scientific understanding of the transformations of art education in the context of the reform of the educational system of Ukraine.
The author team is leading scientists of the Institute for Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine Oleksiy Bezgin, Inna Kuznetsova, Olga Uspenska, as well as some of the first Doctors of Arts in the specialty 026 “Stage Art” Yevhen Nyshchuk and Dmytro Konyk who analyze the challenges, new approaches and prospects for training Doctors of Arts that shape the modern academic landscape of Ukraine.
The monograph is a significant contribution to modern art history, as it systematically outlines for the first time the methodological and normative principles of a new model of art education at the third educational and scientific level. The book will become a reference for scholars, teachers, candidates for a doctorate in art, and all those who are exploring the horizons of the future of art education.
