On September 30, 2025, an online conference was held at the Cultural Coworking Center “Logos” dedicated to the discussion of a collective monograph on the topic of fundamental scientific research “Cultural Dimension of Monument Protection Activities: Status, Prospects and Innovations” (scientific supervisor — Maryna Mishchenko). This meeting became a platform for an in-depth professional discussion on modern challenges and opportunities in the field of cultural heritage preservation.
The participants discussed:

• theoretical foundations of the culturological approach to monument preservation;
• prospects for interdisciplinary cooperation;
• the need to introduce the methodology of postcolonial studies, re-attribution of works of art, and dissemination of information about destroyed and stolen cultural monuments both in the Ukrainian and global cultural communities.

The monograph will be the result of the joint work of a team of scientists, practitioners, and cultural figures who seek to understand cultural heritage as an important component of national cultural identity.
