“Ukrainian Art in European Cultural Dialogue” – this is the title of the new monograph by Olena Berehova, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Doctor of Art History, Professor, the presentation of which took place at the Institute for Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.

The book is a thorough study of the processes of interaction between Ukrainian musical art and European cultural traditions.

The author analyses the transformations of artistic practices in the context of historical, social, and ideological changes, highlighting the role of the artist as an active participant in intercultural communication.

Special attention is paid to artistic reflections on the times of the Russian-Ukrainian war, issues of identity, culture of memory, and research into art in postcolonial discourse.
