On June 5, 2025, under the chairmanship of the Director-General of the Directorate for the Development of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Hryhorii MOZOLEVYCH the third online meeting of the Working Group on the Development of the Roadmap for Ukraine’s Integration into the European Research Area for 2025-2027 was held.

From the Institute of Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, the Working Group, in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated April 30, 2025 No. 656, includes the Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the Institute Olena BEREGOVA and the Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Cultural Heritage and Monument Protection Nadia HONCHARENKO.

During the meeting, numerous proposals from central executive bodies, the National and sectoral academies of sciences, the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, and other scientific institutions regarding open science and innovation, gender aspects of scientific activity, etc. were considered. The meeting was attended by Yegor PYVOVAROV, Scientific Advisor to the EU Delegation to Ukraine. The development of the new Roadmap is aimed at strengthening the national system of science and innovation, ensuring its competitiveness and compliance with EU standards, creating conditions for the full participation of Ukrainian scientists in joint programs and projects with EU countries, and increasing the international visibility of Ukraine as a partner in implementing the European Research Area policy. The revised draft Roadmap will soon be approved and put into effect by the Government of Ukraine.
