“Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research: Challenges and Perspectives” was held on May 6, 2025, at the Scientific Coworking Center “Logos” of the Institute for Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.
The discussion started a series of events dedicated to the Science Day in Ukraine.

Participants drew attention to the legislative unregulation of the use of AI in science and expressed concern about the growing percentage of texts generated by AI in articles that are intended for publication in professional cultural studies journals. Suggestions were made to improve editorial procedures and the need to develop methodological recommendations at the state level. In addition to the staff of the Institute for Cultural Research, partners from the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” and non-governmental organizations joined the discussion.
