Aphoristic Foundations of Dramatic and Lyrical Poetry.

The monograph (444 p., published in English) is the result of the fundamental scientific research of the Institute for Cultural Research of the NAA of Ukraine on the topic Forming the artistic culture of Ukraine: history, aesthetics, semiotics, trends, perspectives.

This work traces the procedures of curtailing the poetic text in aphoristic expression and deploying such an expression. The author understood the idioms as the necessary product of the fundamental antinomy of language and the homology of the world’s linguistic picture. Proverbs – a meditative genre of lyrics – are considered in their transformational and interpretative possibilities. I. Yudkin-Ripun represented the division of poetry into subgenres as the development of the text layering into registers. Creating comments on dramatic and lyrical texts, as the disclosure of the author’s conception, relies on referential contextual and intertextual reticulations as epigrammatic epiphenomena contained in the interpretive potential.
