Traditional Customs of the Ukrainians of the late 19th – early 20th Century.

 

The monograph (376 p.) is the result of the fundamental scientific research of the Institute for Cultural Research of the NAA of Ukraine on the topic Self-organization and dynamics of culture and their peculiarities in Ukraine.

The author examines and summarises the history of the traditional customs of the Ukrainians, the preconditions for the emergence of ceremonies and traditional customs and how they changed within the historical transformations on the Ukrainian terrains in the late 19th – early 20th centuries.

The publication is for experts in the field of cultural studies, history and theory of culture, students of educational institutions of culture, everyone interested in the issues of Ukrainian customs.
