Culture of Ukraine in the Globalization-civilization Dimension (Historical and Methodological Aspects).

The monograph (624 p.) is the result of the fundamental scientific research of the Institute for Cultural Research of the NAA of Ukraine on the topic Culture of Ukraine: historical and cultural dimensions.

The study analyzes the basic foundations of both traditional and contemporary problems of the theory and history of the formation and development of culture in Ukraine within the evolution of world culture and global civilization. Wherein, it focuses on the existing and relatively new historical and methodological aspects of the civilization problems transformation of Ukrainian culture in the age of globalization. The monograph explores the formative role of culture in determining the level of civilizational development and international relations of Ukraine. It shows the development of historical and theoretical foundations of national cultural studies in the global civilizational dimension, analyzes the crisis phenomena of modern culture and civilization, and outlines the possibilities of overcoming them.

The work is for scientists (cultural specialists, philosophers, historians, art critics, etc.), teachers, graduate students, doctoral students, artists, cultural workers and anyone interested in the problems of history and theory of culture of Ukraine.
